The Lumberjack Song
I was having a conversation with a friend of mine the other day when the topic of our discussion led to lumberjacks. It’s not a typical discussion I would have, but it was an interesting one nonetheless. At one point I made reference to Monty Python’s “Lumberjack Song” and my friend looked at me like I was from Mars. He had no clue what I was talking about. This post is for him, and any of you who may have never seen Monty Python’s classic skit.

Listen up Monty Python fans, John Cleese is sending you a message, directly to your cell phone. You just don’t know it yet. The 73 year old comedy veteran has joined a short list of celebrities who are using Twitter the growing text message based social network.
As a Cleese Twitter follower myself, receiving his twits has become a little mental treat I look forward to reading during the day. From the definition of “munificence” to odd Python references Cleese has been consistent in providing tidbits of fun information.
