In 1992 I got on the internet for the first time. Using my 286 running DOS I connected via a 2600 baud modem into a brave new world only the techie nerds knew about. I marveled at my new found ability to communicate with people around the world, an exciting time indeed. It’s been over 15 years since that day and have things ever changed.
But have they gone too far?
I’ve been giving some thought to following the masses and picking up an iPhone to fool around with. Perhaps going really old school might be a wiser (and cheaper) decision to make.
