Introducing Tron Guy

Comments

Thank you Tron Guy, thank you for saving us. Although next time, please have your outfit adjusted in the crotch area. That’s somewhat disturbing to look at.

Every child of the 80’s knows about Tron. Tron was our first real peek into what goes on inside our computers every time we play games and run complex accounting programs. The highly futuristic world of Tron was the setting for many hit Arcade games, including the excellent Disks of Tron.

Tron’s popularity inspired many cosplayers, the king of these being Tron Guy. Tron Guy is a mild-mannered computer engineer named Jay Maynard. However, when Maynard dons his Tron suit, he becomes Tron Guy, the greatest superhero of our era. Tron Guy battles evil all across cyberspace, keeping the world safe from hackers. Tron Guy’s greatest victory came when he single handedly defeated the dreaded Y2K bug, saving the world’s economy from certain doom.

Human Pong

Comments

Barack Obama recently admitted to having played a lot of Pong when he was a kid. Something tells me this isn’t the type of Pong he was playing.

Video Game Classics, the Candle Version

Comments

I love the effort and time that was put into this pacman / candle emulation video. I would never do it personally, but I’m so thankful someone else did.

Sweet tears of joy flowed down my cheeks earlier today when I stumbled upon the 1981 Atari Catalog. A catalog I owned and lost a long time ago.
